Before there were thirteen stripes, there were nine.

In 1765, nine colonies stood together against the Stamp Act. They gathered, protested, and declared that Parliament could not tax them without representation. The experiment did not begin in 1776. It began when unity stopped being optional.

“Rebellious 9” draws from that moment.

The design layers the original nine-stripe protest flag of the Sons of Liberty with Benjamin Franklin’s segmented “Join, or Die” rattlesnake. The stripes represent the colonies that formally resisted the Stamp Act. The snake represents the warning: divided, we fall. United, we endure.

It is not a parade shirt. It is a pre-revolution shirt.
